Just last week the Bryan House Community Development Corporation closed on a second house. Bryan Guzman’s middle name was “Emmanuel” — God with us — so we have named the new house EMMANUEL HOUSE. The movement to “break the cycle of working-class poverty through home ownership” is expanding to the East Side of Aurora! This beautiful 2-unit property needs some rehab work on the inside, but we look forward to welcoming 2 new families in East Aurora in the late Spring/Early Summer. Bryan House, and now Emmanuel House, are living memorials to the Guzman’s youngest son, who died tragically in December 2006.
